As I shared in my previous post (list of popular domain registrars) that Godaddy is one of the best Domain registrar and a best web hosting company. It has been introduced by Bob Parsons. This company operates in Washington D. C., Colorado, Iowa, Arizona, Netherlands and Singapore. Godaddy have very huge customer base. As per survey they have more than 10 million customers.
GoDaddy is also known as a large ICANN-accredited domain name registrar. Company delivers variety of products and 24/7 support.
According to Godaddy they don’t have any association with other companies, which means only they have access to all of their servers thus they promise to maintain your account security and credibility. If you are planning to purchase only Domain name then I would say go for Godaddy. None of the domain registrar company is better than Godaddy. However if you’re willing to buy webhosting then you may have another options.
The above figure shows the total number of domains sold by top domain registrar companies. I don’t have to say a word, you can very well see that Godaddy is at the top. The market share of Godaddy is about 32.3% which is about 1/3rd of total. As I’ve said above according to me it’s the best, now you have to make your choice. If you’re going for Godaddy then don’t forget to apply the coupon codes.
My personal experience with Godaddy
I haven’t used their web hosting service so I would not be able to tell you anything regarding that. However I’ve purchased all of my Domain names from Godaddy only and I’m quite happy as I didn’t face any issue.
